A wide range of conventional Point-to-Point connections to the process and bus connections to the control system. Our Remote I/O Systems allow different connections in according to the customers needs.
The future-oriented Remote Process Interface Systems RPI and IS-RPI for mounting inside the safe, but even in the hazardous areas, (zone 1) link conventional field signals to your DCS or PLC using modern field bus technique.
Remote I/O System RPI RemoteProcess Interface
Remote I/O System RPI
The Remote Process Interface is an economical remote I/O system for connecting measurement signals between hazardous and safe areas. RPI uses a single fieldbus line to connect conventional sensors and actuators to Your process control system.
Remote I/O System HiD3000 (safety Zone and Zone 2)
Remote I/O System HiD3000
HiD 3000 is a remote I/O system with point to bus communication system, ATEX approved.
HiD 3000 termination board can even be installed in a "Zone 2" hazardous area and accept inputs from "Zone 0" with the isolated Intrinsic safety inputs.
HiD 3000 with integral Intrinsic Safety, drastically reduces field cabling and saves cabinet space.
System IS-RPI Remote Process Interface (Zone 1)
Installation in the Field and Intrinsically Safe.
Intrinsically Safe Remote Process Interface will be installed in the field inside the zone 1 of the hazardous area. Only short wires are needed to connect the measurement and control signals of Your conventional sensors and actuators to the system. The communication is lead to Your control system in the safe area via a single fieldbus line.
HART® Multiplexer - Mux 2700
The Mux2700 HART® Multiplexer provides 32 signal channels for connection to “smart” transmitters or control devices supporting digital communication according to the HART® standard. Alternatively up to 16 HART® only (i.e. no 4-20mA signal) devices can be connected to each channel in multidrop configuration. Full three-port isolation is included and each input channel has dual capacitor isolation for freedom of loop connection. It acts as a gateway between a workstation - typically a PC with suitable PAM software - and the field instrumentation. Each Mux2700 is networked simply by connecting the high-speed RS485 output in multidrop configuration. The Mux2700 interrogates each field device, under the supervision of the workstation, retrieving information for storage in its internal database, which can then be accessed at ease.
HART® Multiplexer - KFD2-HMM16
The HART® Multiplex System from Pepperl+Fuchs enables communication between a PC and "smart" field devices supporting the HART® protocol.
Communication with the field device does not disrupt the 4 ... 20 mA measurement signal. Therefore, the access procedures have no influence on the measurement value processing performed by the process control and instrumentation system. The HART® Multiplex-System provides a sub-layerd service level. Information such as measurement ranges, transfer characteristics, status information and calibration status are read, modified and stored again.
Existing plants can be modernized and extended easily by using the advantages of HART® communication. Software packages as PACTware acess HART® field devices using a PC equipped with Windows user interface and exploit the full potetial of HART® communication.

What is PACTware?
One configuration tool for all instruments.
- PACTware is a manufacturer and fielbus-independent software for operation of field instrument.
- available FDT and DTM technology
- PACTware is based on the FDT technology. This technology specifies the data exchange between the system level and the filed instruments. v
- an idea become realitiy - easy, quick and efficient configuration
With PACTware all instruments of a plan can be quickly and easily configured, setup and if necessary diagnosed. Universal use.
