Pepperl+Fuchs Elcon is the Italian affiliate of Pepperl+Fuchs GmbH, a German multinational company, leader in the automation field, with more than 3000 employees in the world.

Pepperl+Fuchs Elcon coordinates from its headquarters in Sulbiate (MI) the sales activities in South and East Europe covering 40 countries with 8 affiliates in Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Egypt, Austria, Check Republic, Hungary, Russia and distributors in Portugal, Greece, Turkey, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Slovakia, Romania, Poland, Baltic States, Kazakstan, Israel, Jordan and Syria.

Additionally, a selected group of Research and Development engineers operate out of Italy collaborating strongly with our mother company in Mannheim.

Pepperl+Fuchs Elcon also has a small production site producing an intrinsic safety Remote I/O product line, Zener Barriers, Power Supplies and "EEx e" junction boxes either in polyester or stainless steel.




Core Business

Our core business is intrinsic safety products for the Process Automation. Our offerings cover traditional analogue and digital signal converters (Intrinsic Safety Barriers), Remote I/O systems and Fielbus Systems.

The range of products is completed with pressurization systems, level measurement devices for a wide range of industrial applications, operating panels, monitors and PC for classified areas, junction boxes, start-stop systems for hazardous areas in plastic material and stainless steel also with Zone 22 (dust) certification certification.

Our Engineering department offers “custom made” solutions according to specific customer requirements. Customers are assited up to the system start-up.
